Amo has done it again…seriously…She literally transports you into her world and feeling all the emotions of the characters and feeling connected with them. She shatters your soul and then tries to put it back together.
This is a Dark, intense story and if you are easily triggered then don’t read, or proceed with extreme caution.
I honestly had to digest the story and put down and wait a day to write my review because how do I put into words how emotional this book makes you feel and at the same time is sexy and angsty as hell!!! Amo just has a way with words and im never disappointed.
Jade is a strong badass and a great heroin. She becomes your favorite and you instantly wanna help and save her. At some points you wanna shake her and make her stand up and run away but the more you read the more you understand and then it wouldn’t be a classic amo story without a huge twist. lol.
Royce(Sicko) is a total hottie. He is Jade’s Foster brother from a wealthy well known family. He’s been fighting his own issues since jade has gotten older and just disappears out of Jade and his families life without a trace.
When the reunite after six years there’s a lot about them both that has changed. There not the same kids they were before. The more you learn what each one has gone through and endured especially Jade your emotions are running high and your cursing the people who were suppose to be protecting her. You get angry at her protective three “brothers” who just left her.
I cant go into much more without accidentally giving away spoilers but just know this is a intense emotional ride!!! Good luck making it through in one piece.
