I was hooked and addicted to Punky’s story. You instantly feel for him and want revenge.
I also loved the Irish accent and learned a lot. You would’ve thought it might have been hard to connect because of the heavy accent but nope! Monica’s writing was done so well that you felt a connection instantly to the characters and kept you wanting more.
You’re finding out where loyalties lie within the Irish mafia and how the war was between the catholics and Protestants.
Punky has his own agenda within his dad’s organization and he’s lucky to have loyal friends along with him.
Then you meet babygirl and theirs instant attraction and chemistry with her and punky.
But what happens when he finds out she’s not who she says she is and hasn’t been honest. Will his attraction and lust for her mess with his judgement and will she be his downfall?
There is a cliff hanger and totally left off kilter and wondering how in the hell you messed that one!
I am addicted to this story and book two can not come fast enough.

I honestly had to digest the story and put down and wait a day to write my review because how do I put into words how emotional this book makes you feel and at the same time is sexy and angsty as hell!!! Amo just has a way with words and im never disappointed.
Jade is a strong badass and a great heroin. She becomes your favorite and you instantly wanna help and save her. At some points you wanna shake her and make her stand up and run away but the more you read the more you understand and then it wouldn’t be a classic amo story without a huge twist. lol.
Royce(Sicko) is a total hottie. He is Jade’s Foster brother from a wealthy well known family. He’s been fighting his own issues since jade has gotten older and just disappears out of Jade and his families life without a trace.
When the reunite after six years there’s a lot about them both that has changed. There not the same kids they were before. The more you learn what each one has gone through and endured especially Jade your emotions are running high and your cursing the people who were suppose to be protecting her. You get angry at her protective three “brothers” who just left her.
I cant go into much more without accidentally giving away spoilers but just know this is a intense emotional ride!!! Good luck making it through in one piece.

When she gets approached by Hunter she immediately thinks rich spoiled kid and says no to his proposition. Then the more he talks the harder its for her to say no. There is more to earning the olypic spot then your talent and she’s finging out the hard way. She could take advantage of his connections to help her.
Hunter and Sallor couldnt be more opposite. I don’t want to say too much more because you definitely have to read their adventure to quickly fall in love with both characters.
I highly recommend this book and fair warning its an all nighter that you won’t want to put down!!!

Amo has done it again and does not disappoint!! I have read all her books and I have to say they keep getting better and better. The way she tells the story and gets you so hooked and addicted and wanting more. You really feel like you live in their word, or in this case Midnight Mayem. The characters are easy to love and hate!!
Killian is a hottie and a bad boy. He definitely is one of my top guys that Amo has brought to life.
Saskia is a strong girl and kick ass girl. I really enjoyed her character and how she doesn’t put up with killian and hands it right back at him.
The author is always pulling at all your emotions and with all the twists and surprises your on your toes the entire story.
I can’t wait for the next one. A must read!! Hold on and enjoy the mayhem
